I'm feeling really overwhelmed by the expectations of my district. They're not clear and we are getting too many resources thrown at us. I really need time to process and to wrap my head around all this. I need a break from all the emails and "helpful" suggestions.

My pressing need right now is to work on how to be more effective and help my students when schools reopen

Shared in Q&A: Jennifer, one great suggestion I've heard is to have a loose bullet point list of things to do some of at some point each day, since each child's day and home is going to look different. It could include something like 20 minutes of reading, an hour of outside or inside play, 20 minutes of journaling or writing, 20 minutes of number play / math, etc. ... in any order. For some more self-care / fun, you could "assign" students to do one of these every day: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13wziZMiHggV2DDwSJ8KGl_NBddwTsBJP/view?usp=sharing
